Propeller, one of the latest entrants to the social bookmarks, is fast gaining a name for itself in the cyberworld, with reason. This site is fast becoming one of the ‘must have’ for any Webmaster out there. The site is very neatly designed with all the latest additions being reflected neatly. All the posts in this website is clearly categorized and links up to the author site, with no issues whatsoever.

Propeller is a product of Netscape and is one of the few sites that provide viable ‘one way’ links to all the webmasters out there. From what I have seen so far, the only bug in the system has to be the submit page, for it sure could do with some rework. Half the time the summit page works and the other half, it does not. But other than that, it is quite easy to submit ones story/article with the link pointing to one’s site. There are quite a few tools available here at propeller that you can use to drive more traffic to your site.

Membership is of course free and one can start a network here from scratch, all that you would have to do is to join up with a few others as friends and start exchanging posts amongst yourselves. By doing so, you would have your own social network; it is that easy here at propeller. The next time you want to tinker with social bookmarks, think Propeller.

MySpace is a social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music and videos internationally. It is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, USA, where it shares an office building with its immediate owner, Fox Interactive Media in turn, the owner of Fox Interactive and therefore MySpace, News Corporation, is headquartered in New York City.
According to Alexa Internet, MySpace is currently the world’s sixth most popular English-language website and the sixth most popular website in any language, and the third most popular website in the United States, though it has topped the chart on various weeks.The service has gradually gained more popularity than similar websites to achieve nearly 80 percent of visits to online social networking websites.
The company employs 300 staff and does not disclose revenues or profits separately from News Corporation. With the 100 millionth account being created on August 9, 2006, in the Netherlands and a news story claiming 106 million accounts on September 8, 2006,the site reportedly attracts new registrations at a rate of 230,000 per day. As of December 18, 2007, there are over 300 million accounts.

Del.icio.us takes on a new taste!

Del.icio.us has been around for quite a while and is one of the most sought after social bookmark sites. Links from this site is quite highly valued in the Webmaster world and of late, Del.icio.us has been making a number of changes, modifying its site so as to increase its popularity.
